The Salisbury Vision Board publicly announced on Spire FM recently that they are looking at an alternative site to relocate the 782 year old Charter Fair. Question is where? Butts Road has been mooted as a possible site! 😀

Council Tax will rise 2½% across south Wiltshire, as Wiltshire council continues to “Harmonize” its tax across Wiltshire. Some parts of the county, will rise by 1.8%.

Wiltshire Council has withdrawn its public consultation on the “Harmonization” of its waste collection service throughout Wiltshire. It blames the “Confusion coming from Whitehall”!
Personally, i think the confusion is arising from Trowbridge, as the Conservatives just cannot make their mind up on its refuse collection service. There seems to be confusion coming from the Conservative party on this matter. Details will be pulished here in due course.
Wiltshire Council (WC), along with Swindon Council, are considering many sites across Wiltshire to use as waste sites. Harnham Business Park, actually in Netherhampton, is under consideration as such a site.
