It may be the biggest bore yet, but the police & crime commissioner election takes place on 15th November.

Use YOUR vote to stop the possible closure of the police station, which seems to be making headlines at the moment.

All but one of the candidates have confirmed that they have NO intention of closing the Salisbury station, except the Conservative candidate.

You have two votes in this election. If you’re voting for a political party candidate (or not?) then consider voting for one of the independent candidates too.

Wiltshire council’s report into the possible speed increase on Netherhampton Rd, near to In-Excess is imminent. The report is due by the end of this week.

There were more than 70 objectors to this crazy proposal from Wiltshire council, including mine.

Increasing speed on this busy road is a backward step and i will fight it all the way.

Government minister Chloe Smith stumbles her way through her Paxman interview.

Watching this interview is enough to make you cringe, as the minister is unable to answer any of Jeremy Paxman’s questions and stumbles her way through yet another government U-Turn.

The new Puffin Crossing, currently being constructed, is due to be officially opened on July 18th at 12.30pm.

It will be opened by myself and Cllr John Brady, along with the two other Harnham City councillors, who will be present.

A crossing has been fought for for many years by residents around this area.
